How to apply for a place - new Reception starters
All new Reception children's parents will be sent an email with the application process and forms.
How to apply for a place - mid-term only
Places are offerd to Gledhow Primary School children only. If you wish to apply for a place, please:
1. Complete the Registration form and the Terms and Conditions slip.
2. Send the forms to either the School Office, Gledhow Primary School, Lidgett Lane, Leeds LS8 1PL marked for the attention of Gledowls or email them to outofschoolclub@gledhowschool.org
3. Please ensure the forms are signed and dated. A £25 registration fee will be added to your ParentPay account if you are allocated a place.
3. Places will be allocated to siblings as a priority and then on a first come first serve basis, subject to session availability.
4. A confirmation email will be sent to parents from the Out of School Club email address, which we will ask you to acknowledge receipt.

How to apply for a place - new academic year
In May each year, existing Gledowls members will be asked via PING to confirm that they wish to continue to attend and reconfirm their chosen days.
In June, we will send out a PING to all parents to apply on a first come first serve basis, subject to session availability.
Gledowls - our club ethos and facilities
Gledowls is a safe environment, which is stimulating and fun, focusing on nurturing your child’s social and emotional health. Safeguarding is at the forefront of everything we do - our Club is inclusive and committed to an antidiscriminatory practice and recognises children’s diverse circumstances.
We offer a Breakfast club with drop off from 7.30am (£5.50 per session) including breakfast and an After School club with pick up until 6pm (£12.50 per session) including a teatime snack. You have the flexibility to book a place at one or both clubs. A one off registration fee will be charged of £25 per family when booking. Unlike some other private settings, this is not charged per year provided there is no break in your booking. Places are offered to siblings of children already attending Gledowls as a priority and then on a first come, first served basis. Unfortunately, we do not offer places for Nursery age children.
Our facilities
We have the use of two large playrooms, a separate unit for our younger owls, an IT suite and an expansive playground and playing field. Children have the option of being inside or outside weather permitting. We also offer:
- Arts and crafts
- Board games
- Age appropriate video games and music
- Opportunities to develop IT skills
- Lego and construction games
- Sport equipment
- Snooker table, football table, magnetic dartboard etc
- Outdoor play equipment Menus
Our catering
Our catering is provided by Catering Leeds. The kitchen is completely nut free and all allergies, that we are made aware of, are accounted for during meal preparation. Presently the Breakfast club has a set menu of toast, cereal, fruit and yogurt with a choice of apple juice, orange juice, milk or water.
